Abstract:The tourist market of 1999's National Day is taken as a case in this paper. Based on the survey and analysis on the tourist market, the traits and problems of domestic tourist market are described, and the main reasons about them are analyzed. By our research, the conflicts between Supply-Demand of domestic tourism market are reflected by the problem exited in the peak period. In order to keep domestic tourism developing healthily, relevant countermeasures should be adopted. Six countermeasures are discussed. First, traffic choke point should be broken through. Second, tourism product should be exploited and upgraded by market guiding. Third, tourism gross control and capacity forecast of tourism destination should be fully considered. Forth, the management of tourism trade should be enhanced. Fifth, tourism information system should be built up. And last, tourism education to country people must be carried through.
